Silk Pillowcases in New Zealand: Buying Guide (2026)

Flair and Ecosa give New Zealand buyers two locally targeted offers, but their dimensions are not interchangeable. Start by measuring your insert: the Ecosa standard case is shorter than Flair's stated case. Then compare an ordinary single-item price with another ordinary single-item price. Membership and multi-buy offers should not silently become the headline price for everyone.

Options and evidence limits

OptionPublic seller specificationsPrice observation
Flair Pure Silk Pillowcase22 momme silk, hidden zipper, 51 × 76 cmNZ$79 per case, direct page checked
Ecosa Silk Pillowcase, standard grey30 momme mulberry silk, 50 × 70 cmNZ$130 full price; NZ$104 separately labelled member price

Ecosa's directly retrieved page showed In Stock for the displayed selection. It states free standard delivery for non-bulky orders of NZ$80 or more, otherwise NZ$10. Its product page identifies a 45-day limited warranty. Do not apply a mattress or head-pillow sleep trial to a pillowcase: the same site sells several categories with different terms. The detailed pillowcase return eligibility still needs to be checked before a final purchase recommendation.

Flair's product FAQ identifies New Zealand dollars. Delivery charges, variant stock and the detailed return conditions were not independently reconciled in this pass. That prevents a reliable delivered-price winner, not a useful comparison of stated fit. Nor does the difference between 22 and 30 momme prove one fabric will last longer: these are advertised specifications without independent fabric testing.

Choose a shortlist by measurement and laundry requirements. Request the sewn-in care label, the exact number of cases in the order, and a total for your delivery address. Keep promotional membership conditions visible and avoid subscribing solely to reproduce a displayed discount during research.

How we compared

We started with the applicable inventory-listed specialist, then examined locally relevant retailer and specialist sources. We compared seller-stated fibre, dimensions, momme, closure, quantity and purchase conditions. No fabric, washing, comfort, durability, safety, certification or cosmetic testing was performed. We did not score or rank products, and a higher momme is not proof of a better pillowcase. Seller claims about wrinkles, allergies, hair breakage and temperature control are not adopted as findings.

Prices are dated item observations, not guaranteed checkout totals. A page or Add to Cart button does not confirm every variant is in stock or deliverable to every address. Where tax, shipping, warranty, returns, origin or duties are not established, ask the seller for an address-specific total and terms. No order or checkout was submitted.
