In Canada, two Queen-labelled jacquard sets can differ in cover length and included sheets. The Royal Jacquard bundle lists a flat sheet; Simons Maison's Delicate Flowers set lists a cover and shams. This guide uses their documented dimensions to identify questions, not to rank fabric quality or current delivered value.
Scope: Adult decorative bedding: duvet or quilt covers, coordinated pillowcases and accompanying pieces. These are not infant sleep recommendations, textile tests or assessments of health benefits.

Named options and evidence limits
Luxury Bedding Canada — Royal Jacquard four-piece Queen set
The selected Queen page displayed CAD 199. It lists a 90 × 92 inch duvet cover, 90 × 102 inch flat sheet and two 20 × 26 inch pillowcases, in a champagne-and-silver design.
Limitation: The fibre-percentage declaration was not established. The four-piece list conflicts with a paragraph requiring seven pieces on return. Free Canadian delivery and tax-inclusion wording are seller statements, not a verified postal-code order total or domestic-dispatch finding.
Simons Maison — Delicate Flowers Jacquard Duvet Cover Set
The primary listing describes cotton and gives Queen contents as a 90 × 95 inch duvet cover with two 20 × 29 inch shams. It displayed a starting price of CAD 129 with no size selected.
Limitation: The starting price is not a verified Queen price. Simons' organic-cotton claim was not independently certified by this guide. A direct refresh returned a security check; current stock, selected-variant price and delivery conditions remain unverified.
The documented covers are both 90 inches wide, but the Simons version is three inches longer. Their pillow coverings also differ in length. Check your own insert and pillows rather than assuming the shared Queen label settles fit. If you need a flat sheet, include that in the Simons basket; if you need a fitted sheet, neither of these stated lists supplies it. Request current Canadian delivery and return-address details from both sellers, particularly before considering a remote-area order.
Checks before choosing
Decide whether you need a cover or a filled bedcover
Make two lists: pieces you already own and pieces you need. A duvet cover requires a suitable insert; a filled comforter is a different construction. A decorative set can add cushions or a bedskirt without adding sheets. Ask whether cushion inserts are included rather than deciding from the photograph. Compare the cost of completing your own bed, not the headline piece count.
Measure each component separately
Record the actual duvet insert, pillow and mattress dimensions. For a bedskirt, also measure the bed base and required drop. A Queen or King label is not a substitute for these measurements. Check cover width and length against the insert rather than choosing a larger cover merely for decorative overhang. An oversized empty cover is not the same as a larger filled bedspread.
Separate appearance from fibre and performance
A product described as jacquard, satin, velvet or luxury still needs an exact fibre declaration. Ask for the label on the cover face, reverse and each accessory, including any filling. The visual description does not establish silk content, certification, colourfastness or lifespan. We have not verified claims that woven patterns cannot fade, or that a decorative set improves sleep.
Plan care, returns and the complete cost
Read the care label before washing; different pieces may have different instructions. Resolve contradictory drying guidance with the seller. Obtain the return deadline, permitted condition, return address and postage responsibility in writing. Ask whether a commercial warranty exists, what it covers and who handles a claim. Add required inserts, missing sheets, delivery and any import charges before comparing a complete basket.
Get an address-specific offer
Ask for a written total in CAD identifying the selected size, colour and included pieces. Record any separate shipping charge, tax or import-cost treatment, dispatch origin, return address and warranty exclusions. Missing details here are unverified, not a finding that a seller provides no warranty or returns. Where no current offer could be read, the source is explicitly an enquiry or catalogue reference, not a confirmed in-stock option.
Is CAD 129 the price of the Simons Queen set?
Not established. It is the retrieved starting price for an unselected range. This guide does not compare it as a Queen offer against the specialist's selected CAD 199 Queen.
Methodology and limitations
We checked the repository’s LuxuryBedding country inventory, then primary retailer or specialist records relevant to Canada. We used the approved non-ranking buying-guide format because complete product equivalence, selected-variant offers or specialist specifications were not sufficiently established. This selected-source guide is not an exhaustive market survey. Retailer claims are attributed and source-access limitations are visible; overseas prices are not ranked as local offers.
No hands-on testing, scoring, certification, safety assessment or performance ranking was performed. Testimonials and ratings are not findings. Item prices are dated observations, not guaranteed checkout totals. No cheapest-product, cooling, health, allergy-suitability or lifespan claim is made. We have not contacted sellers or submitted forms, orders or payments.
